NEDAB Projects
The Key Activities of the NEDAB |
NEDAB plans to work with other economic development groups in the state, including the Nevada Commission on Economic Development and the various regional development authorities, as well as legislators, regulators, business owners, and business and industry leaders. Our goals for outreach are several: |
To help raise awareness of Nevada's unique capital markets environment as a major advantage for companies to consider relocating to Nevada and to encourage others working towards economic development in the state to include this topic in their messaging. |
To share resources and research developed by NEDAB to augment the offerings of these other organizations. |
To help other organizations and individuals identify and refer qualified companies to work with NEDAB's programs. |
To find strategic alliance partners, advisors and industry screening committee chairs. |
NEDAB offers numerous options for companies seeking to learn about capital markets and the advantages of domiciling in Nevada as a private or public company. Current offerings include: |
Articles on the NEDAB web site and published in the Nevada Business Journal |
White papers on a wide variety of white papers are available for purchase. A limited number of these on specific topics related to capital markets and doing business in Nevada are made available at no charge to qualified individuals. |
Free consultation for qualified companies regarding the viability of entering the capital markets. |
Possible future programs include: |
Internet audio and video programs |
Live seminars, teleconferences and web seminars |
Our goal is to help make Nevada even more attractive as a home for companies wanting to participate in capital markets. Particular areas of research include: |
Successful economic development programs in other states, particularly those related to capital markets and capital financing. |
Business chancery court viability for Nevada. This was recommended in the Nevada legislature in 2001 as a result of the study commissioned by SCR-19. We hope to help that beome a reality. |
